Biography

Irini is Senior Managing Director for OMERS Infrastructure’s global third-party capital program, the Strategic Partnership Program (SPP), through which OMERS Infrastructure has invested ~C$7.7 billion in 14 assets on behalf of 19 partners located around the world.

Irini is a member of the Infrastructure Investment Committee and Management Committee, and is a Board member of Exolum, a leading owner, manager and builder of advanced logistic infrastructure for current and future bulk liquids and gases.

Irini joined OMERS in September 2022 from IFM Investors, where she was the Global Head of Investor Relations, the Head of EMEA for the Global Relationship Group and a member of the Global Management Team. Prior to this, she was at Hastings Funds Management, where she was the Head of Product Development for private asset classes. Irini began her career as a corporate lawyer in the New York and London offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she advised PE clients and strategics on private and public M&A transactions globally.

Irini holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, Master of Studies from the University of Oxford and Juris Doctor (Law) from George Washington University. She is a Registered Attorney in New York and holds a Diploma of Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
