We’re thrilled that OMERS investment in Dutch renewables firm Groendus has won M&A Deal of the Year at the 2023 inspiratia European Energy Transition Awards. OMERS, in partnership with APG, acquired Groendus in 2022. Congratulations to everybody involved in the transaction! Also in partnership with APG, OMERS is in the process of acquiring its second Dutch energy solutions provider, Kenter. Following completion of the transaction, Kenter and Groendus will ultimately partner to offer existing and new customers holistic, integrated energy solutions to support the decarbonization of their operations and help them reach their net zero goals.
